The Antarctic Erotic Eggshell is a 38 mm Swiss hand-wound watch with a domed eggshell dial in a matt finish, shiny silver applied indexes and a flamed blue seconds hand. Eggshell is neither white nor beige: the matt surface absorbs light rather than reflecting it, so the dial looks warmer by candlelight and crisper in daylight, at ease with a suit or on a weekend.

The secret sits on the back. Wind the crown and, through the flat sapphire caseback, a penguin automaton comes to life, animated by the winding motion itself through a cam system integrated into the modified Soprod P054 movement. Stop winding and it stops. The penguin emblem, patented by Nivada Grenchen in 1965, is redrawn here from the archival patent.

The 316L stainless steel case, shiny and brushed, keeps the 38 mm proportions of the 1950s Antarctic: 12.45 mm thick and 45 mm lug to lug, with a signed screw-down crown and 10 ATM water resistance. Each Antarctic Erotic is delivered in a faux-fur watch roll with a matching travel pouch.
