When Anita and I started Santurce, we wanted it to be about much more than watches. We wanted to create something that represented Puerto Rico, but also something that could bring people together through this hobby we love. Along the way, we’ve been fortunate to meet people who genuinely believe in that same idea. Andy is one of those people. What started through watches became friendship, shared experiences, conversations, events, and a mutual appreciation for the community surrounding all of us. So when the opportunity came to create something together, we didn’t want to simply put two names on a dial. We wanted Andy’s personality to become part of the watch. We gave him the freedom to bring his unmistakable flair to Santurce, and he took us somewhere we loved immediately: back to the boldness, color and pure fun of the 1990s—a golden era of watches, interpreted for the modern day. The result feels like both of us. It’s unmistakably Santurce, but unmistakably Andy too. And maybe that’s what makes this one particularly special to Anita and me. It’s a watch that exists because of the people this hobby has brought into our lives.
