The Antarctic Erotic Black is a 38 mm Swiss hand-wound watch with a matt black dial and applied indexes carrying white Super-LumiNova. It is the most understated execution of the collection: nothing on the surface suggests anything other than a well-made Swiss watch, and that is the point.

The complication stays private. Begin winding the screw-down crown and the flat sapphire window in the open caseback reveals a mechanical penguin animation that exists only in motion. A cam system re-engineered within the Soprod P054 hand-wound movement translates the winding into a vertical sequence; stop winding and it stops. Nivada Grenchen registered the penguin emblem as a patent in 1965, and this version is redrawn from that archive.

The 38 mm diameter is the one the Antarctic has kept since the 1950s: balanced on most wrists, discreet under a cuff. The 316L stainless steel case is shiny and brushed, 12.45 mm thick and 45 mm lug to lug, under a double-domed sapphire crystal, with 10 ATM water resistance.
