Radium Instruments is an independent Norwegian watch brand that pairs Norwegian craftsmanship with Swiss precision. Founded and designed by Thomas Cappelen Malling, the brand builds rugged, vintage-inspired field watches made to be recognized at a distance and worn every day.
Made in Norway and assembled in Oslo, each watch runs on a Swiss movement, with select cases machined from Hydro CIRCAL recycled aluminium — over 75% reclaimed from post-consumer scrap.
Its collections carry distinct Norwegian stories — from the sandblasted aluminium case of the Radium .39, to the Sabotør, whose dial is inspired by 1950s Nagra audio recorders, to the self-luminous markers of the Nautic and the signature crown-guard profile of the Crown Guard. Despite the name, there’s no radium here — the watches use modern Super-LumiNova for their glow.
