DESCRIPTION
The Esnórquel is our modern interpretation of the classic skin diver—simple, capable, colorful, and designed around the rhythm of island life. We wanted to capture the effortless character of the skin divers of the past without simply recreating one. The familiar proportions and straightforward tool-watch DNA remain, but everything is viewed through a more contemporary—and distinctly Santurce—lens. Color is at the heart of the Esnórquel. Living on an island, color is simply part of everyday life. It’s in the water and the sky, painted across buildings and storefronts, in what we wear, the places we eat, and the constantly changing light from morning to sunset. We wanted the Esnórquel to capture some of that energy. That’s why each color combination was designed to feel natural in different moments of island life—from a morning by the water to an afternoon in the city, dinner outside, or simply something colorful on the wrist during an ordinary day. The result is a watch that feels familiar without feeling vintage, playful without becoming a novelty, and functional enough to go wherever the day takes you.
